Hotel del Lago

The Hotel del Lago is located in a superb location within the domain of the ancient village of Piediluco, nestled between the hills and surrounded by lush vegetation. The hotel overlooks the Lake below that, just 4 km downstream produces the impressive waterfall of Marmore.

The Hotel, cozy and refined, has 46 en-suite bedrooms and is a true oasis of tranquility. In the thirties, the futurist painter and architect from Terni, Giuseppe Preziosi, was commissioned to design the building. Originally was a colony and destination of young aristocrats who undertook the Grand Tour around Europe.

The hotel has two private parkings and is surrounded by a small park crossed by the Via di San Francesco. It also has two restaurants with 160 seats each – The Ginestrella & Belvedere Terrace, bar, conference center and summer solarium. Belvedere Terrace enjoys the best view, here guests can have their breakfast, during the summer. The cuisine, distinctly typical, is specialized in excellent preparations of freshwater fishes, homemade pastas, meats and vegetables locally produced. Special preparations, light and tasty, is available for rower, cyclists, hiker, Nordic walker.
